blog post 2

Here is what I wore out to the Cactus Saloon on Saturday night. I may have already posted about this vest and skirt previously but there’s nothing wrong with showing my love once again with a few alternatives. I love to make a statement and it is certainly possible with this statement necklace from Lovisa that I somehow found a few days after it was released! As well as the embossed skirt & vest that I get mesmerised by every time I look at it!

My choice of clothing in Townsville is always very different as in Melbourne there is nothing wrong with dressing up during the day one bit! However, all I want to wear during the day here is some casual shorts and a top. (plus you have to rug up a bit back home that’s for sure hehe). For the Cactus Saloon Saturday night I chose this matching number of the Sportsgirl Embossed Scuba vest (available online here) and the Sportsgirl Embossed Scuba Skirt (now in stores and available online here). I’m sorry that the links don’t link you directly but the Sportsgirl site does not have links for every piece of clothing however they are easily found under the jacket and skirt tabs. The skirt is to die for! There are definitely a lot of asymmetric skirts being featured everywhere especially the Zara skort that many bloggers and those alike have been lusting over. I, myself, have lusted over it for weeks but due to Australia’s Zara being so far behind I lost interest in trying to get my own very quickly.

My favourite piece in this outfit is actually the Saboskirt White Lounge Tunic (available here). Saboskirt have a range of different coloured lounge tunics and definitely get your hands on one for only $28. I have purchased the red & white as they are perfect dressed down with some black skinny jeans or some cute denim shorts. As well as looking perfectly breezy, it’s comfort factor is a 10/10 in my books. I am actually wearing it as I write this and as the Queensland nights get a little cooler it also adds some warmth. A perfect Autumn or Spring piece for when it’s a little chilly!

I must also mention that at the Cactus Saloon you will find the most divine cocktails EVER! Andrew, the bar manager, is a master of the fine art and here is my favourite creation of his. I still cannot remember what exactly is in it but boy, it tastes amazing!

Goodnight and sweet dreams to you all.
