Okay this is definitely my favourite shoe trend right now! The thigh high boot is hot-to-trot! It’s true that Olivia Palermo and Elle Ferguson are absolutely beautiful people and they certainly have got the style I love here. If I had to name one Australian woman that has the dream wardrobe, job and everything in life.. It would have to be Elle Ferguson. I could compare my tastes for fashion like my taste for food at the moment. As I’ve grown up I have certainly expanded my taste palette and liked a lot more things on my diet that I once would’ve turned my nose up at. The same thing is happening right now with my style! I have always been a massive fan of ankle boots and disliked everything else. Right now, I am absolutely lusting over this over the knee boots. Elle has styled these to perfection with ripped jeans (a must-have at the moment) and a cosy knit! I have wanted a pair for Italy for quite sometime and when I saw Elle Ferguson in these I had to find out where they were from. Unfortunately, I don’t have over $750 to spend on a pair of beautiful suede boots but I would happily save for them as they are truly an investment piece! Stuart Weitzman, you are honestly incredibly talented and I hope to one day be able to wear your beautiful shoes on my feet.
These beautiful booties are my more affordable options from Wittner and Tony Bianco! The first pair are from Wittner and are my go-to option for Italy. Obviously, it’s a little difficult to wear heels in Venice as there are cobblestone roads everywhere! I can’t walk on flat pavement for more than a few hours in heels so I doubt I’d last 30 minutes walking on cobblestones. This pair is on sale and down to $169.95 so is perfect for this season. The second pair is from Tony Bianco and oh boy, aren’t these amazing? These are currently available for pre-order but will be the piece for the AW14 season I think. There are so many things that I love at the moment about this piece – especially the stiletto heel and the straight cut peep-toe. These will be great for the winter as you can wear your favourite skirt or shorts from the AW14 collections but still keep nice and warm in these booties!
