Processed with VSCOcam with n1 presetFriday Morning I woke up to this beauty box – a little present to myself. If you haven’t heard about Bella Box; it works like a magazine subscription however you get spoilt with little goodies that are selected for you! It runs month to month and you can cancel at anytime or you can get a yearly subscription as well. As this was my first Bella Box, I had no idea what to expect! They will post what is in their boxes each month however some items seem to be very different to what they advertise! This shows you what I got in my beauty box…

It’s filled with samples and they usually give five items a month! Below are two of the products that really stood out to me and items that I would definitely purchase myself.

Firstly, how could I say no to this beautiful lipstick from Model Co. Cosmetics. I was lucky enough to get a rich, nude colour that I actually liked to wear. I’m always very picky with lipstick colours as I find that most nude colours don’t work with my fair skin. I usually stick to a bright red, or a colour very similar to this that is hardly noticeable on my lips! The best thing about lipsticks nowadays is that some offer great rehydrating effects; I try to avoid getting matte lipsticks as they dry out your lips as well. I always try to take care of my lips using my different lip balms and rotating them but as soon as a bad lipstick goes on it’s another story! I find that they dry out quite quickly and this lipstick has kept my lips feeling hydrated and soft, which is a very rare feeling for me when I wear lipstick. Now that I’ve tried one of these lipsticks I think I’m definitely hooked and can’t wait to get a few more colours! They retail at just $16.95 and seem like a great investment so far.

Second is the Shea Butter Hand Cream by AquaVerse. It’s quite clear that more brands are appearing on our shelves that advertise how natural the product is. We are overwhelmed by “no parabens” and “no sulfates” but this hand cream has a list of 14 chemicals that are not in this formula! I have never really thought about the chemicals that I put on my face and body everyday but it’s actually a little outrageous. Lately, I have definitely become a fan of reading ingredient lists and knowing exactly every thing on there. I was quite surprised when I read the ingredients list for this and knew everything on it! This includes shea butter, wild-crafted red algae, marine collagen, jojoba oil, kakadu plum extract and vitamin E. It’s comforting knowing that what you are putting on your body is natural. I’m not saying that I’m anti-chemicals as most if not all of the make up products I wear are FILLED with chemicals but as I said, it’s very comforting. I’ve tried so many hand creams and I’m pleased at how soft my hands feel!
This one retails at $14.95 and can be found at

I’ll definitely stay on the Bella Box subscription for a while as I am very happy with the samples I received! It’s also such a wonderful feeling waking up in the morning and getting a surprise present. It’s very rare that I get a surprise as I usually like to suss everything out but this was one good surprise! Bella Box are definitely on the ball and for just $15 a month – how could you say no to a little gift?

With Love,
