It’s been a little while since I’ve been to any factory outlets and I realised last week that I’ve been missing out on a hidden secret in Melbourne! I’ve been to DFO tonnes when I was younger; my mum and I would love looking for pieces that were absolute bargains and would always make a day of it!

Now, my mission was to find an outfit for a $100 and I am so happy with the outcome here! I don’t like to waste my money on items that will feature on my blog once and then seeya… For me, it’s about finding items that are timeless yet so on trend at the same time. Let’s forget the pricey shoes and watch, because let’s be honest, shoes are where the money should go (or is that just my personal addiction to Senso shoes? Who knows!)

I managed to get this beautiful shirt, ripped jeans and bucket bag for under a $100! The key with outlet shopping is to walk around the whole centre before buying something – especially if you’re on a budget. I can’t tell you how many times I walked around Uni Hill when I was there as I wanted to make sure that I had bought pieces that truly represented my style. The shirt cost me $29.95 from Cotton On and it’s a lightweight material perfect for a hot summer’s day. I decided to pair it with some white ripped jeans and a bucket bag because hello, ripped jeans and bucket bags are soo in right now and I love them! If you’re lucky enough, you can usually score some incredibly cheap denim from the Cotton On here. There were none in my size at the time I was there, but managed to score a pair of black ripped jeans for just $15 when I popped in the other week to see what the place was like!

Want to know where to find these great pieces? Check out http://uhfo.com.au to see which shops are there and where you can find yourself a great bargain!

Are you a fan of factory outlets?

With Love,

Peachy Style Signature
