As the long weekend comes to an end, I can’t help but think of a few of my favourite trends at the moment…
KNIT: H&M // SKIRT: Country Road – sold out (available in Caramel here) // SHOES: Nude Footwear // HAT: Dolly Girl
I am absolutely loving these two at the moment. My next few posts are going to cover some massive trends I’m loving for this Autumn Winter season and how I will wear them. Tan is massive right now and if you’ve seen the Cameo jumper I received the other day on my Instagram then you know how obsessed I am with tan at the moment. I scored this knit at H&M last year for just $20! It’s been a stable in my wardrobe ever since and I’m so excited to wear it this season. Tan is a such a great colour as it compliments a natural palette of clothing that includes white, grey, blue denim & black.
When it comes to leather, it can’t get old for me – I absolutely love it! Leather skirts and pants are my go-to on a freezing cold day because nothing can keep you warm like leather can. This skirt is great for a night out or for work during the day! If I remove the hat, I have a perfect outfit for work and then when I’m done for the day, I can put my hat back on to feel a little more casual. I have to mention that this skirt also has pockets. When I was trying it on in the change room, I thought to myself it was pretty cool but as soon as I noticed the pockets I had to make this skirt mine. Although this skirt is currently sold out, it’s available in caramel right now and I think I need it as well. The caramel colour is beautiful for a night out with a white crop top and some nude heels. It’s only $99.95 and is vegan-friendly so you might just see the caramel one pop up on my blog very soon.
Tan and black are like my little power couple perfect for the winter season. I’ve dressed up a little here but it’s so easy to dress this knit down with a pair of white or black skinny jeans, leather pants and converses or ankle boots. I wore this knit the other day with white skinny jeans and some slides and it was absolutely perfect for the mild Autumn days we are having in Melbourne at the moment.
Are you loving tan & leather this season?
