HOW TO MAKE THE WINTER BLUES OKAY

It’s that time of year where we start to get the winter blues and to be honest, I think these are the kind of winter blues I want this year.

There’s no doubt that I love an all black outfit during the winter but I’m feeling a little different this year and want to continue these brighter looks throughout the coming months. To me, there’s nothing more refreshing than a look like this one on a sunny day. My key to wearing this look in the winter is adding a touch of grey. Grey is the perfect colour to give my look a bit more warmth and avoid the “all white” look that isn’t very wintery.

I think grey knits are absolutely beautiful this season and they can easily be paired back with some light denim and white basics like I’ve done here. I’ve honestly bought too many already but they seem to be taking away my winter blues so I really can’t complain. It’s just a little too cold here in Melbourne for my liking at the moment; I’m really not looking forward to the winter weather, but I cannot wait to wear lots of knits and coats! I don’t think I’m the only one who could say they only love winter for the fashion. Who’s with me?
