DRESSING FOR THE OFFICE: PART 1

TOP: Kookai // SKIRT: Shilla The Label // COAT: Country Road – sold out online // SHOES: Skin Shoes – dropping in July

It’s part one of my dressing for the office series and I thought I’d start out with the norm. When we think of office attire, we think of all black suits and non-flattering skirts and pants. I thought I’d share a few of my favourite pieces that I love wearing to the office.

It all starts with this beautiful wax-coated skirt from Shilla The Label. The slit at the front allows you to be ten times comfier when you sit down or need to get to that meeting quickly when you’re running late! There’s nothing worse than being in a pencil skirt and finding yourself struggling to walk fast because you’re so restricted. This skirt fits so well to the frame and I think it’s one of those items that is perfect for the office for me and for after-work drinks!

To keep everything quite professional, I like to pair the skirt with a high neck top so I can make up for the slit. I think these roll neck tops are absolutely beautiful for the winter time as they keep you toasty warm being 100% Merino! As it’s winter time, a coat is absolutely essential!! I think that it’s just so icy cold here in Melbourne lately that I need a coat every single day and this Country Road coat is my go-to at the moment as it’s perfectly tailored for the work place.

Lastly, add a bit of fun to the outfit with some animal & pony hair heels and you’re sorted!

What’s your favourite outfit for the office?

With Love,

Peachy Style Signature

  1. Love the style!
My personal favorite to wear in the office are my Ann Taylor navy shorts, white sleeveless blouse, tan heel sandals, and for a pop of color, my hot pink patent leather belt!
