The shades of grey and drop crotch obsession continues to be one of my go-to’s when putting outfits together. To be honest, I don’t think it’ll be going anywhere soon!
I decided to put a couple of basics together and show how some oversized clothes (that are totally comfortable) can be made cool.
I bought this top from Country Road a few weeks ago in their massive sales so it only cost me $22 – absolute bargain! They only had larges left so I had to think about how to wear it so I didn’t drown in it. Sometimes I love a piece so much that I’ll buy in the size left but I always make sure that I go and try it on to see whether it’ll actually look good oversized or not. My key to making this piece work oversized is to roll up the sleeves and to slightly tuck it into my jeans. This helps to show off my frame so I don’t look like I’m wearing a sack! I also like to include a pair of heels when I wear these jeans so my legs appear longer to compensate the oversized, baggy jeans. Not only do these boots add length, they add a bit more jazz to the outfit so it’s less casual.
