So there’s been a part of me for almost 2 years that has wanted to buy a pair of over the knee boots. I’d seen so many but nothing compared to when I saw Olivia Palermo in the Stuart Weitzman boots back in 2013. There was just something about these boots that spoke such understated elegance and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on a pair.
There had been so many times when I’d found a pair but either they were way too expensive or they were PU, and wearing a boot like this that’s not breathable could get a little icky!
It was only the other day when I was shown these boots and it’s probably one of the quickest purchases I’ve made. I went straight after work, tried them on and purchased them soon after. It was one of these “I really need these in my wardrobe” moments because I’d been after them for so long and it just seemed like fate. Over the knee boots are the reason it’s acceptable to wear skirts in winter and you actually stay considerably warmer so everything was telling me that I needed these in my wardrobe.

I bought my first over the knee boots pair last winter and I couldn’t be more happy about it! They’re great paired with dresses – just like you did it, and high waisted skirts. I also used them a lot with jeans. Great photos dear 😘
